Equine Body Work
Equine Bodywork will help your horse’s overall health and wellbeing. Equine Sports Massage is a wonderful way to keep your horse physically and emotionally well balanced. It reduces pain and the risk of injury or re-injury. Massage allows the whole body to function in balance, releasing compensatory muscle tensions, and develops a soft and supple horse.
Touch between human and horse is a great communication tool. It brings the horse and handler into close contact which helps the horse develop trust in the handler.
Photonic Red Light Therapy
Reduces recovery time which reduces the overall cost of treatment, especially in cases of long term chronic, hard to heal wounds. Red light is used in the therapy of tendon and ligament injuries, arthritic joints, muscle soreness, back pain, wound management, Laminitis, pre-performance stimulation and post-performance stimulation.
Qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and Equine Body Worker
I am a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist and Equine Body Worker. I have been an avid horse person for as long as I can remember, riding, owning and training my own horses. I have been part of most equestrian disciplines including vaulting, dressage, show jumping and polo, as well as just enjoying riding for the pleasure of it. When I was competing my own horses I discovered the importance of physical therapy in keeping them sound, supple and performing better. It was then that I fell in love with horse massage. I couldn’t stop and I became addicted to learning more about horse health and anything to do with equine body work. I earned qualifications in equine body work, Myofascial release and red light therapy and under took further study in equine biomechanics, anatomy and saddle fitting.
